Far removed from the vulgarity of the present, Historystore’s new Blow and Squeeze cards are based upon real Victorian family values. In those days every well-to-do household would have owned a Visitor’s Book in which would be inscribed a permanent record of the visits of family and friends. These new cards are derived from two such books, known as ‘Family Tree’ and ‘Ghost of my Friends’.
With conventional cards becoming ever more expensive, this novel interpretation of the past is as much a gift as a card. Each box contains six cards with a miniature bottle of ink and a dipping pen together with instructions and an example of one that was prepared earlier.
